Crawfish & Mixed Vegetable Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 pound crawfish, peeled and deveined
- 2 cups mixed vegetables (broccoli, bell peppers, carrots, snow peas)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green onions, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Prepare Crawfish:
- If you haven’t purchased peeled and deveined crawfish, do so first.
- Rinse the crawfish under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
- Prepare Vegetables:
- Cut broccoli into small florets.
- Slice bell peppers and carrots into thin strips.
- Trim and clean snow peas.
- Sauce Mixture:
- In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Set aside.
- Cooking:
- Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add minced garlic and grated ginger. Stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add Crawfish:
- Add the peeled and deveined crawfish to the wok. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until they are heated through.
- Add Vegetables:
- Add the mixed vegetables to the wok. Stir-fry for an additional 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are crisp-tender.
- Sauce:
- Pour the sauce mixture over the crawfish and vegetables. Toss everything together until well-coated.
- Season:
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Adjust the seasoning according to your preference.
- Finish:
- Continue to stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until everything is well combined and heated through.
- Garnish and Serve:
- Garnish with chopped green onions.
- Serve the Crawfish & Mixed Vegetable over steamed rice or noodles.
